So in the spirit of “what does Long Haul mean’ for trailers? I present our transcontinental trip from southern Ontario to Central BC and back, about 9,200kms, with our new Pro-Lite Evasion trailer!

My daughter and her fiancé had moved from Kitchener, Ont to Penticton BC in the summer time. We had retired just this year and bought the Evasion in the early summer from Long Haul Trailer Sales as they were biggest trailer vendor with Pro-Lite trailers in Ontario. During the summer, it was decided that we would take the Evasion out to visit the family in October. We did the entire trip with no problems and many great memories!

The outbound leg was tracking through Canada and its goal was to get into Penticton by Thanksgiving. We did this and took 6 ½ days to get out to BC.

We had a week to visit family and sight-see in BC. The return trip went via the US and we did a bit more sight-seeing along the way. The trip home was 8 days.

The trip was a real test of the trailer and the tow truck and the conclusion is that it was a resounding success! My wife and I were comfortable every night and the Evasion tracked behind my Toyota Tacoma truck beautifully. The trailer was never a problem even in the mountains. I would recommend Pro-Lite trailers, especially the Evasion, for vagabonds who want a light camper that can provide real comforts when away from home.
